About 40 Shia protesters were reportedly killed by the Nigerian Army. They fired shots at the protesters because they threw stones at them, this led to the death of about 40 members of the group.
In their defense, the Nigerian Army shared a clip of Trump’s remarks on Twitter with the caption, “Please Watch and Make your Deductions.”
The video clip which they took down from their page, had Trump saying US troops would open fire on rock-throwing migrants to justify firing on and killing Shia protesters earlier in the week.
Trump had on Thursday said he told the US troop to consider rocks thrown by the approaching Caravan as riffle.
“We’re not going to put up with that.” He said. “They want to throw rocks at our military, our military fights back”. “I told them to consider it a rifle.”
In response to Amnesty International’s condemnation of the incident, Nigeria Army’s spokesman John Agim said: “We released that video to say if President Trump can say that rocks are as good as a rifle, who is Amnesty International?”. “What are they then saying? What did David use to kill Goliath? So a stone is a weapon.”
The above statement has the to be the dumbest of all justification anyone can give for doing something that is outrightly inhumane and evil. If Trump can say that rocks are as good as a rifle? Who the hell is Trump?
And why would any sane human listen and act on his amateur rhetoric?
