What possible reasons do scientists have to lie about climate change?
A new US government report says man-made climate change is already wreaking havoc on the country.
The report which was vetted by 13 federal agencies warns of more destructive western wildfires, longer heatwaves in the southeast and more powerful Atlantic hurricanes.
The report also says climate change could shrink the US economy by hundreds of billions of dollars by the end of the century.
The report further stresses that man-made climate change is not only real, but its effects are already here.
According to Donald Trump, one topic he typically knows everything about is climate change.
“One of the problems that a lot of people like myself, we have very high levels of intelligence but we’re not necessarily such believers.
“You look at our air and our water, and it’s right now at a record clean. As to whether or no it’s man-made and whether or not the effects that you’re talking about are there, I don’t see it.” – he said during a Washington Post interview.
Since this recent report was presented by the Trump administration, one would think that finally, Donald Trump would come to terms with the reality on the ground.
“I have seen it, I have read some of it and it’s fine”
“I don’t believe it”, he said when asked what he thinks about the economic implication as presented on the report.
Despite having lived through 72 Thanksgivings, Trump seems not to have a full grasp of how it works.
“so great that oil prices are falling (thank you President T) …” he tweeted.
When asked if he had prepared for his historic meeting with dictator Kim Jong Un earlier this year, he said:
“I don’t think I have to prepare very much.
“It’s about attitude, it’s about willingness to get things done. So this isn’t a question of preparation, it’s a question of whether or not people want it to happen, and we’ll know that very quickly.”
I just read Joe Biden’s “Promise me, Dad”. And I just saw how he made sure he was very ready and prepared for each of the meetings he had with other world leaders. And this is a man who is known for championing great diplomatic ties.
And here Trump thinks he need not prepare?
How can one man possess all the stupidity of mankind?
